Solid Waste Management (SWM) is basically the process of collection, treatment, transportation and disposal of solid waste material discarded or is no longer useful. This includes all those activities and actions taken regarding solid waste management from inception to its final disposal and present complex technical challenges. They also pose a wide variety of administrative, economic, and social problems that must be managed and solved.
